2. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, information created through your use of the service, and technical information needed to operate the platform.

Account information such as your email address and authentication identifiers.
MT5 connection information such as account number, broker server, connection status, and the MT5 password you provide when you choose to connect an MT5 account.
Trading and account information such as balance, equity, margin, free margin, open positions, trade history, trading days, performance statistics, and related analytics.
Technical information such as browser/device information, timestamps, IP-derived security information, logs, and diagnostic data.
Support communications and other information you choose to send us.

3. How we use information

To create and secure your Bull & Bear account.
To connect, synchronize, and display your authorized MT5 account information.
To calculate and present trading analytics and historical statistics.
To maintain service reliability, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and protect accounts.
To provide support and communicate about important service or security matters.
To comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. MT5 credentials and access

Bull & Bear supports MT5 investor/read-only credentials and master credentials for analytics and monitoring. Investor/read-only access is preferred when your broker supports it because it limits account permissions. A master password carries trading authority at the broker level even though Bull & Bear is designed not to submit, modify, or close trades.

Connection credentials are handled as sensitive information and are used only to establish and maintain the connection you request. We use technical safeguards intended to protect stored secrets and restrict access to authorized server-side processes.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Bull & Bear, such as authentication, hosting, database, infrastructure, security, and communications providers, only as reasonably necessary to provide the service.

We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, lawful authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, Bull & Bear, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or legal harm.

6. Account separation and sharing

MT5 accounts are associated with the Bull & Bear user who connected them. Other Bull & Bear users should not be able to access your private account data unless you intentionally use a supported sharing feature. If you use a sharing feature, only the information and access permitted by that feature should be shared.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account history, meet security and operational requirements, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable law. Retention periods can differ depending on the type of information and the reason it is held.

8. Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should also protect your email account, Bull & Bear session, and MT5 credentials.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also disconnect an MT5 account from Bull & Bear using the available account controls.
